Connex Developer

We are seeking experienced Connex Developers to join our team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions in Payments IT.
Role Overview:
As an Analyst Programmer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining efficient systems and end-to-end processes. Working as part of a team of Connex Developers, you will focus on software development, upgrades, and providing critical support services.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop payment solutions across various projects
• Perform system upgrades, configurations, and maintenance
• Author detailed design documents and ensure adherence to design principles
• Conduct peer code reviews in alignment with PCI requirements
• Provide second-level support for complex troubleshooting
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve production issues
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call roster (every 3rd week)
• Offer subject matter expertise to project, QA, and implementation teams

Required Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Connex and its system architecture
• Expertise in AS2805 and ISO standards
• Proficiency in TAL, COBOL, Tandem, and Non-Stop systems
• Strong understanding of integration technologies and application architectures
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and experience with SDLC processes
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations
