Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities
Program Management:
- Manage projects within the program to meet timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Oversee interdependencies between projects and other programs.
- Maintain the program's capital/expense plan, ensuring accurate budget management.
- Regularly review and assess program performance against strategic plans.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Establish and track key metrics to measure program performance.
- Ensure all projects within the program are appropriately managed.
- Build strong relationships with senior executives.
- Manage the expectations of business and IT departments.
- Promote opportunities to address business needs through process improvement and IT solutions.
- Provide advice on program risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Establish a stakeholder management plan and communication framework.
- Ensure regular and appropriate communication with stakeholders.
- Serve as a reference point for information regarding IT capabilities.
- Exceptional ability to develop and lead multiple large project teams simultaneously.
- Align operational plans with the broader functional strategy.
- Achieve results through managing a team of professionals and/or leaders.
- Attention to detail, particularly regarding quality.
- Ability to manage demanding stakeholders while building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Expertise in conducting stakeholder and risk analysis.
- Thrive in a high-performance culture, with a strong drive to work at pace.
- Clarify stakeholder needs and manage expectations to deliver effective services.
- Ability to resolve issues and act as a decision-maker.
- Control, monitor, and manage all program costs, resources, and overall project health.
- Lead others in sharing new ideas, perspectives, and solutions.
- Anticipate change and proactively identify opportunities.
- Knowledge of financial models related to project delivery and IT capital management.
- Relevant qualifications/certifications (e.g., Cert IV, PMBOK, PRINCE, AGILE).
- Current membership of relevant professional groups/associations.
- 7-10+ years of experience in program management.
- Experience managing complex programs and projects, with strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Proven track record in delivery methodologies, planning, scheduling, and risk/issue management.
- Ability to manage conflicting stakeholder requirements effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
- Experience engaging with vendors, including software vendors and professional services providers.
- Demonstrated capability of working with both onshore and offshore teams.
- Experience in managing IT cost centers.
- Bachelor's degree in business management, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline (formal project management education is preferred).
