Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Power BI Fabric ETL pipelines, dataflows, notebooks, and warehouse stored procedures to integrate data from APIs and source systems.
  • Design and build data models within Fabric Warehouse schemas (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
  • Create semantic models and interactive Power BI reports to support both operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and develop complex DAX measures.
  • Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot data loads and semantic models to ensure consistent performance.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Lead design and delivery of dashboards that are user-centric and business-driven.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all BI initiatives.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and manage relationships with vendor partners.
  • Drive BI projects through the full lifecycle—from concept to deployment and maintenance.
  • Continuously improve BI processes and stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience Essential:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in BI development, with a strong focus on Azure Data Factory and/or Power BI Fabric.
  • Proven expertise in building and optimizing Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and pipelines.
  • Strong SQL skills; experience with Python or R is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of API integration and data warehousing concepts.
  • Advanced DAX and Power Query skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills.
  • Experience working across multi-vendor and stakeholder environments.
  • Strong project and time management capabilities.
  • Class C driver’s license.
Desirable:
  • Project management experience, especially with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Exposure to advanced analytics and data science practices.
  • BI or Data Management certifications.
